2007 ACUI National Championships
The Association of College Unions International (ACUI) proudly announces its 2007 Collegiate International 9-Ball Champions. Minnesota State University Mankato hosted this international championship, now in its 70th year, on July 10-12 in conjunction with the Billiard Education Foundation (BEF) Junior National Championships.

KIA Motors Becomes Pool’s First Modern Car Sponsor
Seoul, Korea- KIA Motors has signed on as the title sponsor of four televised events produced by billiard promotions giant Dragon Promotions. KIA will be title sponsoring Masters of the Trickshot, Showdown in Seoul, and the 4th Annual Korea International Championships.

Karen Corr was crowned champ of New Jersey after dominating the field at the championship event held July 14-15 at Prime Time Billiards in South Amboy, NJ. Canadian 9-Ball Tour Grows Again
The Canadian 9-Ball Tour has been a steady grower during its first two years and has just announced that the growth continues into year three as the 2007-2008 season will see the tour increase from six to eight stops across Canada and the prize monies will leap up to $10,000 added money for each event, a doubling of that amount from previous years.

Barney, Rakin, Shuffett, and Miller Triumph in BEF Junior Nationals
The 2007 Junior National 9-Ball Championships has crowned the 2007 winners and was a huge success. Over 130 players representing 29 states and Ontario, Canada, demonstrated great talent throughout the week of July 12-15.
