The open division, which he won, brought in 68 participants, including professionals like Dennis Hatch, Shawn Putnam, Ronnie Wiseman, and Sparky Ferrell. Burrkats Billiards in Monroe, NC, was the host location of this event, which boasted a $4,550 prize fund.

After Monday’s rounds at the GenerationPool.com 9-Ball Championships, held this week at the Charlotte Convention Center, the Women’s Professional Billiard Association’s (WPBA’s) ladies moved one step closer to determining a champion. Leading the pack are still the top four from the San Diego Classic last April—Allison Fisher, Gerda Hofstatter, Karen Corr, and Ga-Young Kim.
