Sunday I played flawless. I took the day off yesterday, but today I feel like Im struggling a little bit, though. My first match, anyway. My morning match, I missed a lot of balls. I should have won the match and beaten Sammy Jones. I played good against Keith just now.

McCready, famous for his portrayal of Grady Seasons in The Color of Money and his line, Its like a nightmare, isnt it? reached the hill first with Schmidt at 6 but badly missed the 8 ball. Unable to believe his luck, Schmidt cleared his balls from the table to make the match double-hill. A dry break from Schmidt turned the table back over to McCready, whose fourth shot wobbled but still dropped. Time out for me, baby, McCready announced, walking away to grab a bottle of water.

The tables in general are more generous than the tables in Orlando. When you look at the corners, they look small, but I think the cut may be different because the play is more generous. The first round is always the toughest, but with games under your belt, now its up to your stamina and mental strength. I mean, we all can play at this point.

I won eight-three, eight-three, and eight-zero. I just played perfect on Dallas West. Hes a Hall of Famerit was an honor to play the guy, but to beat him like that? At the end of the match he said to me, Your time is coming. Thats a lot of respect, and Ive got a lot of respect for that guy. But the way I just played there, I could go on and do damage to anyone.
