The Golf Channel is conducting a series of feature interviews with top athletes who also play golf. Velvet was interviewed by Kelly Tilghman, the first full time female golf commentator on the PGA Tour, starting in 2007. The interview took place at Reunion Resort, home of one of the richest events on the LPGAs schedule, the Ginn Open. This is phenomenal exposure for our sport.

This was the first event of the 2007 season, and 51 players showed up to kick off the new year, including three women and six juniors, all of whom had free entry, thanks to the tours new promotion to get more players involved in the sport.
