When we began play last week the field in Fujairah consisted of sixty-four hopefuls. As of today that number had been reduced to just eight and six of them would be sent home today. The first task was the quarter-finals from which only four billiard players could emerge.

When we began play last week the field in Fujairah consisted of sixty-four hopefuls. As of today that number had been reduced to just eight and six of them would be sent home today. The first task was the quarter-finals from which only four billiard players could emerge.

Fresh off a fine performance the weekend before at the Turning Stone Classic, John Morra snapped off the March 3-4 stop of the Canadian 30K Tour. Hosted by Pool Paradise in Waterloo, ONT, this event garnered 34 players all trying to grab the stop.

Billy Peay wound up the happiest of a strong field of 27 players welcomed to David Whitlock’s Rack Cue Billiards in Campbellsville, KY, March 3. The attraction was David’s $1,000 guaranteed prize fund, race-to-7, double-elimination 9-ball tourney. This event is held on the first Saturday of every month until summer.
